Terms of use

Castle Garage Door Network is a referral service. We collect descriptions of garage door problems from homeowners and pass them to independent contractors. We do not perform garage door installation, repair, or any other trade work, and we hold no trade licence, bond, or trade insurance.

Any agreement to carry out work is made directly between you and the contractor. We are not a party to it, we do not set the price, we do not supervise the work, and we do not hold your money at any point.

Complaints about workmanship, pricing, timekeeping, or conduct are matters between you and that contractor. We do want to hear about them, and we will stop passing requests to a contractor who generates them, but we cannot adjudicate a dispute we are not part of.

The price ranges on this site are compiled from third-party published sources, each of which is named and dated where it appears. They are provided so you can judge whether a quote is within published norms.

They are not offers, estimates, or quotations, they are not binding on us or on any contractor, and we do not warrant that any source is accurate or current. Where sources disagree we show the disagreement rather than resolve it.

The guides describe common faults in general terms. They are not instructions for your specific door and they are not a substitute for a qualified person looking at it.

Garage door springs and cables are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury or death. Nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to work on them yourself. Where we describe checks you can make, they are deliberately limited to things that involve no stored energy.

You agree that the information you give is accurate, that the telephone number is one you are entitled to give permission for, and that you are 18 or older.

Do not use the form to submit anyone else's details without their permission. We may refuse or delete any request, and we may decline to pass on a request we believe is not genuine.

We do not guarantee that any contractor will contact you, that anyone covers your ZIP code, or that anyone is available within any timeframe. We will tell you if we have nobody for your area rather than leave you waiting.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redstone Castle LLC is not liable for any loss arising from work performed or not performed by a contractor, from reliance on published price ranges or general guidance on this site, or from any interruption to the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here affects any statutory right you have as a consumer under New York law.

The text, drawings and design of this site belong to Redstone Castle LLC. Price figures belong to the publishers named beside them and are cited with attribution.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction.
