A small New York company that publishes prices

Garage door repair is one of the most scam-associated trades in the country. The Better Business Bureau, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection and the Federal Trade Commission have all published on the same pattern: a low advertised call-out, then a much larger number once someone is standing in your garage.

The reason it works is that almost nobody publishes a price. Without one, a homeowner has no way to tell an ordinary quote from an outrageous one, and by the time they are being quoted the car is already trapped.

We are not a contractor, so we have no price to protect. That puts us in the odd position of being able to publish what this work costs, with sources, and let people go and check.

There are no customer reviews on this site because we have not got any. There are no photographs of completed jobs because we have never completed one. There is no founding story, no count of homeowners helped, and no badge saying licensed and insured, because the company holds no trade licence and it would be a lie.

The company was filed in March 2026. It is new, and a site that dressed that up would be doing a small version of the thing it is warning you about.

What we do have is a real registry entry, a real address, real published sources for every figure, and a stated business model that we put on the front page rather than in the footer.

Contractors pay us for introductions. You are never charged. We take no percentage of any job, and we never hold your money.
